About
The short version
I’m a UX/UI designer based in Melbourne, and I’ve been doing this for over 5 years. I studied at the Apple Developer Academy, led projects at a creative agency, and I’ve worked with clients in Australia, Singapore and the US.
I don’t like stopping at the mockup. If the tool I need doesn’t exist, I usually end up building it. That’s how a gala installation ended up with its own bulk image generator, and how my bike courier game ended up with its own AI art pipeline.
Lately I’ve been working with AI a lot. What I enjoy most is the bit in between: you’ve got a really powerful model on one side, and a normal person who just wants it to work on the other. Someone has to design how those two meet, and that’s the part I like doing.
Speaking
I learned a lot of what I know at the Apple Developer Academy, and they’ve invited me back twice now to talk to the new designers and developers. Both times I talked mostly about AI: what it really is once you get past the hype, and how a UX/UI designer can turn it into something people actually use.
I talked about how AI is changing the job, how I design AI features without confusing people with jargon, and how to get noticed by companies overseas.

My first time back after graduating. I talked about where AI fits into a designer’s work, how to build a portfolio that gets you interviews, and what working abroad is really like.
